Ice cream for breakfast --uhh, yes please! Here's what I put in my ice cream bowl this morning, it was delicious, nutritious and I felt like a breakfast badass with each bite.
Karlee’s Badass-Breakfast Nice-Cream Recipe
1 peeled frozen banana
5 frozen strawberries 1/4 cup almond milk 1 scoop green protein powder (use any protein powered you like - I love PureGreen Protein by Vibrant Health, or ask me for a recommendation for your taste in the comments) 1/2 avocado Dash of cinnamon, cardamon, ginger powder (optional)
Top with what you like, I used: unsweetened coconut flakes bee pollen hemp seeds frozen cherries
Put all the “ice-cream” ingredients in the blender, blend until smooth…don’t over blend it will melt. Pour into a bowl and top with what you love. Serves one breakfast badass.
Note: You can mix and match with this recipe, replacing any ingredients you want. Ex: I’m allergic to milk - so this recipe has none. You could use regular milk if you wanted, but as a Health Coach I'd recommend orange juice to replace the nut milk rather than dairy.
