Chocolate Braniac Snacks
Here's the deets:
1 box of gluten free graham crackers*
1 cup of semisweet dark chocolate
1/2 tsp almond extract is optional but was amazing (or any flavor)
Toppings: Have fun with this, do what you dig. I did:
Almond pieces (smashed them in a baggie with the heavy lime juicer I never use)
Dried Coconut (unsweetened)
1⃣ Add the almond extract to the chocolate and melt it. Keep the small bowl of chocolate in a larger bowl of hot water so it stays melted (but don't put water in the chocolate)
2⃣ Spread the chocolate on the graham cracker and quickly coat with your toppings, pressing them in. It's like spreading thick peanut butter, so be gentle to not break the crackers. Do one at a time so the chocolate doesn't harden.
3⃣ Put 'em in the fridge for an hour (if you can wait that long) to set up. They are delicious still warm too.
